1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 17646674 Canada Inc., operating as Orbealis ("Orbealis," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information when you visit orbealis.com, contact us, or otherwise interact with us.

"Personal information" means information about an identifiable individual. It does not include information that has been anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with an identifiable person.

This policy is intended to reflect Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other privacy laws that apply to us. If a law gives you additional rights, we will honour those rights where applicable.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask you to submit passwords, access credentials, government identification, financial account details, health information, or other sensitive personal information through our website contact form. Please do not include such information in your message.

• Service providers. Providers that support form delivery, email, website hosting, infrastructure, security, data storage, professional advice or other business operations. They may process information only to perform services for us, subject to their terms and appropriate safeguards.

• Legal and safety purposes. Government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement or others where disclosure is required or permitted by law, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety or security.

Contact-form provider

Our contact form is delivered by FormSubmit. When you submit it, your entries are transmitted to FormSubmit so it can relay them to us by email. FormSubmit states that submissions may be retained for up to 30 days. Its handling is also governed by the FormSubmit privacy terms. Do not use the form if you do not want your information processed by this provider.

6. Processing outside Canada

Our service providers may process or store personal information in Canada, the United States, India or other jurisdictions. As a result, information may be subject to the laws of those places and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or national-security authorities in accordance with local law. We remain accountable for personal information under our control and use contractual or other measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the services involved.

7. Cookies, local storage and advertising measurement

We use a Google Ads tag supplied by Google LLC to measure advertising performance, understand whether visits or enquiries followed an advertisement, and support advertising campaign management. Depending on your choices, Google may receive technical and activity information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, referral information, advertising identifiers and interactions with our website or advertisements. We use Google Consent Mode v2. Advertising and analytics storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization are denied by default. If you select “Accept,” the Google tag may use cookies or similar technologies and process data for those purposes. If you select “Decline,” those permissions remain denied, although Google states that its tag may send limited, cookieless consent and measurement signals. You can reopen “Privacy choices” at any time to change your selection.

We store your choice in your browser's local storage under orbealis-privacy-choice so that we can remember it. Our hosting, security and form-delivery providers may also automatically receive technical information or use technologies strictly necessary to deliver and protect their services. You can clear stored choices using your browser settings.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain appropriate business and legal records, and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. The period varies based on the type and sensitivity of the information, the relationship, legal limitation periods and applicable requirements.

Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Information relating to a client relationship may be retained for the relationship and an appropriate period afterward. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for up to 30 days. When information is no longer required, we securely delete, destroy or anonymize it, subject to lawful backup and record-retention requirements.

9. Safeguards

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity and amount of personal information and the risks involved. These measures may include limiting access on a need-to-know basis, access controls, provider diligence, system updates, secure transmission where supported, and procedures for retention and disposal.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use the contact form only for ordinary business enquiries and do not send confidential credentials or highly sensitive information through it.

10. Access, correction and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, information about how it has been used and disclosed, or correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
